We are closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and abide by the regulations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) to ensure we are acting on the latest information and guidance.
Urgo takes great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all of our hotels. In response to the coronavirus, we have developed additional measures in recognition of recommendations made by global and local public health authorities (including WHO and CDC) to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous. In particular:
- Our hotel teams are receiving ongoing briefings and enhanced operating protocols.
- We have increased the frequency of cleaning public areas (including lobbies, elevators, door handles, public bathrooms, etc.) and are continuing the use of hospital-grade disinfectant.
- We will continue to adjust food and beverage service in accordance with the most current food safety recommendations.
To support our hotels as they navigate uncharted territory, we have galvanized regional and corporate response teams to provide around-the-clock assistance and communications and have deployed action plans to all properties.
